Phobias & Fears – £65

Hypnotherapy is an extremely powerful and effective tool in helping you to overcome your fear/phobia. Through a variety of relaxations and breathing techniques, learning how to use hypnosis, your powerful mind is able to overcome your fears. Phobic and fear responses are our bodies natural way of telling us that we are approaching, or are within, a dangerous situation.

When a fear progresses from a rational thought to an irrational one this can create phobias. Through hypnosis, we work on allaying the fear by directly ‘diffusing’ the ‘template’ within the area of the brain so that there is no longer any negative emotion attached to it.

The duration of the treatment may vary depending on the severity of the phobia and each client is assessed on an individual basis, ensuring that the treatment you receive is tailored to your personal requirements.

Stop Smoking/Vaping – £300 

Stopping smoking or vaping is probably one of the hardest things for people to commit to. It is a difficult habit to break. The fact that you are even looking at my page is a positive step in your journey to successfully achieving your dream of becoming a non-smoker, it shows that you are already committed to wanting to make this positive change in your life.

The course I offer takes you through an initial 1 hour 30 minute consultation which includes an in depth discussion surrounding your smoking habits. This is followed by a 50 minute session that includes a focused, directed trace and two follow up sessions of 45 minutes, allowing your mind and body to completely embrace a new smoke-free lifestyle.

Weight Management – £65

Hypnotherapy can help to give you the control you need to change your behaviours surrounding food and nutrition. We will look at the fundamental issues with eating patterns as there is often an underlying cause. Once we can understand the brain in its most basic form by splitting it into the two main parts, the intellectual brain (conscious) and the primitive, emotional brain (subconscious), I can start to explain the origins of food management issues.

Through the power of suggestion, you’ll enter a receptive state as you begin to focus on what you need to do in order to adopt a healthier relationship with food. This can include weight loss, weight gain or help adapting to a more varied and nutritious diet for selective eaters.

You will remain fully in control throughout the process of uncovering what’s holding you back. If for example, someone is overeating, they are not making an intellectual decision, if they are not making sensible decisions, then it must be coming from their primitive, emotional brain.

Our primitive, emotional brain can only work within the parameters of depression, anger, and anxiety or a combination of all three. Together we will focus on the positive aspects of your life and concentrate on where you want to be instead of what problems you may or may not have in your life in the past or the present.

Anxiety, stress, anger and depression all contribute to filling our ‘stress bucket’ and this, in turn can cause our emotional brain to override any intellectual thought patterns, including eating habits. Hypnotherapy can help free your mind to take back the control you need and give you a new found purpose taking you on a journey to lasting change.

Suffering from unexplained infertility, or infertility with a cause can result in feelings of anxiety, depression and loneliness. I am here to support you through this emotional time. Through a focused course of guided relaxations, I am able to walk by your side, supporting you through this journey.

Hypnotherapy can help you to relax and potentially remove blocks to fertility, where there has been no conclusive medical diagnosis for infertility. When you are experiencing stress, your body reacts by releasing hormones that can inhibit the physiological requirements needed to conceive, for both women and men.

Through hypnotherapy we can help your body to relax and release any recognised or unrecognised stressors from your mind, allowing the body a chance to resume the usual functions required. In the case of diagnosed infertility, we can support you through your journey through working together to find ways for you to move forward and find acceptance and peace within yourself and your circumstances.

When we are expecting a baby, there is often an element of nerves surrounding the impending birth, or the pregnancy itself. This can be caused by the unknown for first time mothers or in mothers who have had a previous traumatic birth experience.

This course of hypnotherapy can help you to release fears or tension surrounding the upcoming birth and motherhood, preparing you for a calm pregnancy, birth and transition to motherhood.

Stress – £55

In today’s fast paced life and with so many recent changes and uncertainty it is easy to become overwhelmed and stressed. Stress not only affects one’s mental health, but if left untreated can impact on one’s physical health creating physical symptoms such as headaches, tenseness, changes in appetite (eating more or less) and/or disrupted sleeping patterns.

More and more individuals are being diagnosed with stress, and in its infancy, stress can appear as a feeling of too much pressure at identifiable times that generally speaking, will subside when the deadline is met and the moment has passed with no long-term effects. However, prolonged exposure to stressful situations due to self-induced pressure or anxiety that is brought on by prolonged external environmental or social factors, results in a person feeling they can no longer cope.

Hypnotherapy is an effective aid in the reduction of stress, when you visit the practice, I explain its foundations, its link to anger, anxiety and depression and of course, importantly, how to cope better with it. I work with clients to enable the individual to be better equipped to recognise their specific triggers, understand the origination of their stress and how to avoid those situations in the future.

Finally, I help you to discover what motivates you and together we establish coping mechanisms that will help you behave, think and interact more positively in your own life.

Anxiety – £55

Anxiety can be debilitating and can take over your life. Fortunately, hypnotherapy is a great way to help with the reduction of anxiety and stressful situations. When we become anxious, our mind and body are telling us that we are in a ‘dangerous’ situation. Our heart starts beating harder, we start to sweat, our stomach churns and in some cases our fight or flight ‘mechanism’ can be triggered and panic attacks may occur.

This can happen in countless situations for example, travelling in a car, going out for meals or public speaking and can eventually lead to an individual not leaving the house for fear of the unknown. The problem is that our body cannot tell the difference between a real danger or a perceived one when it ‘takes over’ in terms of creating anxiety. If our stress or anxiety levels are high, our primitive, emotional mind steps in, takes charge and unfortunately, can only work within the negative parameters of, amongst other symptoms, anxiety and stress.

Anxiety is created by negative thinking, it is not necessarily the events in our lives that produce the anxious behaviour, because if this was the case then all students studying for their exams would be suffering from panic attacks, so it must be our thought patterns surrounding the events in our lives. This is where Hypnotherapy can help enormously with anxiety, we will work together in reducing the anxiety levels, giving you back control of your life.
